3D Mobile game asset using the hand painting technique to texturize and reach an interesting art style.
The 3D model and the textures is made for me.
The design of the sword is not mine. I've been loking for the autor but I coudn't find him.
First of all I did the low poly version of the sword in 3Ds Max. The version that could fit in a game.
Second, I did a High poly version to smoth edges and apply some detail in 3Ds Max. In this case Zbrush wasn't necesary.
Third. I exported the models into Marmoset to bake them and get the ambient occlusion map, material ID, Albedo map and Normal map.
Fourth. I started to paint the texture in grayscale in Substance Painter.
Fifth. I added the albedo map and applied some details into the asset model.
Sixth and last one. I exported the Substance Painter textures into Marmoset and took some renders.
